Our Client is a Mid-sized Int'l Freight Forwarder

Seeking: Customs Entry Writer-Lake Success,NY Office

Salary is $55K-$60K

Searching for an experienced entry writer familiar with HTS classification and PGA’s ( Partner Gov't Agencies) with 5 years of experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Preparation of customs and ISF entries
• Entry classification and valuation
• Reviewing and verifying documentation for accuracy to ensure compliance with all federal regulations
• Working with Customs, air carriers, steamship lines, piers and CFS’s
• Troubleshooting any issues, problems or examinations that may arise
• All other tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or manager

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent, college preferred
• At least 5 years of Customs Brokerage experience to include entry writing, classification and valuation of merchandise
• Thorough knowledge of HTS and CFR 19, Customs Regulations
• Familiarity with PGA clearances and their various documentation requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task and team-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Cargowise a plus
