Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Software Developer III's for openings in Long Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above (Heavy SQL programming /debugging skills, especially in complicated data generation, performance tuning)
a. Transact SQL (heavy)
b. SSIS (heavy, especially in transferring /manipulating data)
c. SSRS
d. SSAS
e. Database performance tuning (heavy)
f. Database troubleshooting
g. Database Design (heavy)
h. Database archiving
i. Databases backup and restore (Restore whole databases, restore certain backup files, restore backup to certain time/date stamps)
j. Setup database backup jobs using SSIS (full and transactional backups)
k. Shrink databases
l. Monitor the production and test process and proactively take action to prevent job abends
2. Windows/Web Framework
3. C# .NET (heavy)
4. IPC Domain Knowledge a plus
5. ASP.NET (heavy)
6. Web Services
7. XML / XSLT
8. SGML (Heavy)
9. Automated Job Scheduler (CISCO Tidal Scheduler a plus)
10. PERL
11. Linux Red Hat - in support of CISCO Tidal Scheduler
12. Database Design (heavy)
13. Configuration Management Tools (heavy)
14. Software Documentation
15. AutoCad experience a plus
16. Experience working in a team setting
