- Chipton-Ross is seeking 35 Marine Painters for openings in Portland, OR.
Looking for Marine painters with experience working on Aircraft or Large Boats.
- 2-3 years experience
- Electrostatic Spray Gun
- High Pressure Spray Gun
- Mini Jet Spray Gun
- Marine, Auto body or Industrial Painters preferably with HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) air-fed electro-static paint sprayers.
- At least 2+ years of Industrial and/or Commercial marine/transportation painting experience is highly desired.
Refurbishing experience a big plus.
High School Diploma
Shifts are 4- 12 hour shifts.
4 days on, 4 days off
May pay as low as $15 for an entry level position and if candidate doesn't test as well as expected.
Position may be temp to perm or direct placement, depending on client's needs a candidate's testing.
Client will expect testing for all candidates that they are interested in and show that they have an interest in committing to this opportunity. Client will coordinate and pay for round trip flight to Portland and also give one day of per diem. Skills tests are on Wed, Thurs, Fri. If skills test is passed, client will determine if candidate is Jr. or Sr, and make an offer based on results of testing.
May go up to $22/hour for 2-3 yrs expereince with a STRONG skilll set. Client hopes to move those hired to a Senior Painting position within 3 months, and Senior positions there pay $25.
Shifts are 4- 12 hour shifts. 4 days on, 4 days off with a 10-15% shift differential available.
