Description


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applicant will be key contributor to the design and development of Java-based C2BMC applications.
Candidate will help generate software design artifacts, implement software changes, support design and code reviews, support software testing and resolution of issues arising from software testing.
Some travel to Colorado Springs may be required. Travel in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred or equivalent years' experience.
Hands on Java or C++ software design, development, and unit test experience.
The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Applicant should have a working knowledge of MS Office products.
Application development in a UNIX/Linux platform environment as well as Windows OS platforms are strongly desired.
Other desired technical skills include experience developing software using software development and management tools such as Clearcase, Eclipse, and J-Unit.
Knowledge of secure programming practices, Risk Management Framework compliance, system administration skills for both Unix and Windows, Role Based Access Control design/implementation are also desired.

MISCELLANEOUS:
