Certified Navy Validator, RMF, eMASS experience needed.
The primary location for this job will be the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC and its associated locations within the Washington metropolitan region. The successful candidate will provide network and system certification and accreditation support for Navy unclassified and collateral systems and networks. The position also performs cybersecurity tasks that are broad and complex in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
Responsibilities of Position:
o Instructs, counsels, and guides work of other members when participating as a member of a cyber security team.
o Provide network certification and accreditation support for Navy systems and networks.
o Network documentation.
o NRL process and procedure development.
o Maintain compliance with DOD, Navy, NRL, and other Intelligence Community cybersecurity guidelines, standards, and policies.
o BA/BS in Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related discipline. In lieu of formal education, at least 10 years of related experience.
o 8 to 10 years' experience, to include applicable security discipline principles, practices, and procedures.
o Prefer at least six (6) years' experience maintaining computers, software, and networks.
o Experience with DIACAP, RMF, eMASS, DCID 6/3 Certification and Accreditation Process, ICD 503 guidelines, process, and procedures, and other IA/Cybersecurity Tools.
o Experience with certification and accreditation activities on US Navy operational and R&D systems and networks.
o Able to provide network security, technical, configuration, and architecture support to the Government IA representatives.
o Must obtain a Security+, GISF, or GSLC certification; active CISSP certification is preferred.
o RMF, eMASS, and experience in accrediting and certifying Navy systems preferred.
