Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Administrator Specialist 4.
Provides technical expertise for enhancement of and change to system security configuration.
•Experienced with system patching technologies and vulnerability remediation methods
•Senior level experience implementing solutions for Microsoft Windows 2008/2010 Servers operating systems, VMware virtualization technology.
•Evaluates existing Windows server technologies and services, and makes recommendations to meet IT strategic plan
•Understands a high-availability, high-performance environment and performs work to those standards
•Works with consulting resources and project managers to achieve project implementations on time and on budget; commits to and meets project milestones and costs.
•Accountable for the implementation of technology/services architectures and standards.
•Accountable for detailed designs based on the committed architecture and standards.
•Participates in the implementation of Windows solutions delivery, including planning, design, build, testing, ordering and transition to production support.
•Participates in the development of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Ability to work with and coordinate multiple vendors as needed.
•Experience participating in Windows server based initiatives for complex organizations.
•Considerable experience implementing, and supporting Windows servers and server operating systems (2008/2010)
•Exensive experience with server hardware
•Experience with group policy, especially security policies
•In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and MS Exchange 2010
•Experience implementing and supporting SAN and backup solutions
•Must possess advanced troubleshooting skills
•Network security configuration exposure a plus
Minimum of a HS Diploma
WORK HOURS: 9/80 Schedule
