Description



RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an artist with at least 2 years of work experience in graphic design to support our Northrop Grumman Redondo Beach facility. This artist will be collaborating on projects with customers and other artists, so they should have good communication, design and time management skills.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Four year degree in Graphic Design.
Must have at least 2 years of work experience in graphic design
Must be an experienced user of the Adobe Creative Suite of applications: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Must be proficient using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Must have the ability to preflight files for offset printing.
Must have knowledge of file size preparation for large format printing.
Must have experience with design and layout of brochures, posters, flyers and other print collateral.
The candidate must be skilled in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and can work with both Mac and PC operating systems, networking and systems maintenance experience is a plus.
The candidate should have experience working in an environment supporting multiple projects and performing to tight deadlines.

EDUCATION:
Four year degree in Graphic Design is required.

HOURS:
On - call; Must be willing to work a 9/80 work schedule
