Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II/III (4) for an opening in Canoga Park, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-There are two (2) Level II openings and two (2) Level III openings.
-The Manufacturing Engineer classifications are responsible for design, fabrication, modification, analysis and evaluation of manufacturing operations, processes, procedures and production layouts for the support of manufacturing/assembly operations such as rocket motor propellant and/or insulation manufacture, equipment installation, machining, metal forming, welding and brazing, and material handling.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Designing and planning of layout component fabrication, assembly and material handling, planning of sequence of operations, and specification procedures.
-The scope of responsibility will be for several mechanical components or as a process engineer supporting new and developing process.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
-Tight tolerance machining, Welding, Design systems (ProE, CATIA, VisMockup, CAD/virtual manufacturing) . -Manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes and systems.Verbal and written communication.
-Project management skills and MS Office applications ( Word, Excel).

EDUCATION:
BS degree in Manufacturing /Industrial Technology or Engineering required Skills and Experience
