- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Embedded S/W Engineer in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX.
Software Engineer with Real Time environment experience. The Client is planning to develop a multi-purpose weapon launcher and upgrade their existing weapons. Development will include displaying the Polish language, interfacing with the Polish command and control system, implementation of launcher motion-control, and Polish specific weapons.
Skills required are real time programming, including experience with the vxWorks real time operating system, inertial and GPS navigation applications, and Ethernet communication and datalink protocol. Preferred skills and experience include use of the GNAT Ada compilation system, Wind River Workbench development environment, Power PC experience, including use of an In-Circuit Emulator, and the Razor configuration management data base system.
Required BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Related Field C/C++, ADA, Real Time Software Development, Wind River Workbench, Power PC Development, vxWorks, Inertial & GPS navigation units
Software configuration management tool experience, Razor
