Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Embedded S/W Engineer - Level 2 (2) for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client is seeking Software engineers to enhance their existing Ground vehicle Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Laboratory and its tools for their Australian Mine autonomous vehicle program.
These positions required the following skill sets: Past Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) development experience, Low Fidelity Gazebo models, vehicle models, mine environment models, sensor, models, Test cases, and other simulation development/enhancement as needed.

Primary development language will be C++ and it will be hosted on multiple Operating Systems such as Ubuntu, Redhat Linux, and VxWorks. Experience with ROS/Gazebo is also highly desired.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Travel will be required to Littleton Colorado

EDUCATION:
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Related Field, Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) experience, C/C++, Gazebo, ROS, simulation development/enhancement, Ubuntu, Redhat Linux, and VxWorks.

WORK HOURS:
9/80, 1st Shift, Full-Time
