Description



RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts financial and operational audits by examining and verifying accounting, statistical, or operational records and/or procedures of internal and/or external organizations to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial and control systems, material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures. Examines records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. May include auditing activities under Sarbanes-Oxley. May support divisions and subsidiaries in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.
Job Functions will include, but not be limited to:
Obtain cost or pricing data.
Schedule and perform onsite visits to suppliers' facilities.
Review and analyze cost or pricing data.
Perform cost analysis, including review of material, labor, overhead and SG&A costs/rates, other direct costs, and costs to ensure compliance with FAR and terms and conditions.
Provide Audit Report to Buyer in a timely manner, to include detailed r.esults of the cost analysis identifying any questioned costs.
Provide support to Buyer during negotiations.
Frequent travel involved.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have 6 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters.
Must be familiar with GAAP, FAR, and CAS to ensure that supplier proposals are compliant with regulations.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's or Master's degree is required.

HOURS:
7:30 AM to 4 PM
