Chipton-Ross is seeking a Publisher for an opening in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Publisher formats, produces, and/or revises complex publication materials such as technical proposals, reports, and marketing materials. The publisher coordinates work with authors to determine project requirements and presents drafts of finished products to users.The publisher also prepares layouts and may perform minor graphics work including development and placement of tables and figures. They must ensure high quality of output and compatibility of products with follow-on repro and printing processes. The publisher must be available to work extended hours and work quickly and accurately to meet delivery deadlines.
Candidates must have advanced general computer skills and specific proficiency with MS Word, including formatting/layup, merging graphics, creating styles, creating and manipulating tables, creating and revising templates, with working knowledge of the full MS Office suite, and familiarity with Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.
More than 2 years working in a fast paced, publications development and production environment.
5 years direct proposal publishing experience
BA in related field or equivalent work experience
