Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Legal Administrator C located in Berkeley, MO

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position resides within the Law Department and provides primary administrative back-up assistance to other Legal Administrator in support of the St. Louis office. Primary work assignments include providing phone coverage; schedule management; administrative support for the new hire onboarding process, travel arrangements and expense reporting; document and presentation generation.

Responsibilities are as follow:

Triage and organize all forms of communication as desired including incoming calls, messages and correspondence received; act as liaison and facilitate communications between the law department and clients, assess urgency of situation and determine appropriate action; coordinate and process domestic and international business travel arrangements; monitor designated business traveler's logistics and generate expense reports; reconcile corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement; verbally and electronically communicate a wide variety of information to multiple audiences; review, assess, prioritize, monitor status of pending items, follow up and keep attorney/staff informed; manage calendars, coordinate meetings, teleconferences, WebEx meetings and conferences; generate, revise, proofread letters, presentations, and correspondence; handle appropriately communications of a sensitive and confidential nature; maintain files and correspondence using accepted legal office practices and company record keeping systems and procedures; process invoices, track department budgets and generate reports using spreadsheets and internal legal matter management system; coordinate with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources; inventory, order and maintain office supplies; submit facilities requests; plan and implement logistics for executive level internal and external events; and other responsibilities as determined by the business manager. Order equipment for new hire and assist with other onboarding process.

The successful candidate will have the ability to perform multiple work assignments concurrently, often within a short period of time. Having the ability to prioritize is essential. Must excel in a diverse team environment with challenging work assignments and schedules. Candidate must handle confidential data with maturity and integrity. Must be willing to go above and beyond to accomplish projects timely. Attention to detail is crucial to this position. A positive, energetic, flexible, and team-oriented attitude is a requirement for this position, as is mastery of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel). Experience in Microsoft Office & SharePoint 2013 is a plus. Must be willing to learn Client-specific software. Understanding office workflow and applicable company policies and procedures will be necessary. A key attribute will be maintaining poise under pressure. The successful candidate must exhibit a high degree of professionalism.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Formal education beyond high school is preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8 AM - 5 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.
