- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Instructional Designer for openings in Everett/Renton, WA.
ELearning is looking for an experienced Level II Instructional designer contractor with technical, aeronautical or manufacturing background. Preferably, with prior Client experience. This role requires a good grasp of instructional design best practices and a passion for creating engaging, challenging training for a variety of applications. Ability to display a high level of creativity and analytical skill which will be used to create learning content for a variety of both technical and non-technical purposes. Be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have a good fundamental grasp of both web-based and instructor-led training delivery methods and developmental processes and should be able to demonstrate experience delivering training in more than two industries or work environments.
- 3-4 years’ experience developing courseware in the L&D/E-Learning field.
- Working knowledge of Captivate and / or Storyline.
- LMS/LCMS Knowledge preferable.
- Expertise in MS Office Suite.
- Adobe Suite Knowledge preferable
- Customer Service/Project Management skills.
ORGANIZATION: Show a high degree of organization and time management, and be able to handle multiple workflows simultaneously.
LEADERSHIP: Take ownership of projects and demonstrate leadership when directing course development direction and have a strong sense of completing a job to required quality standards.
DRIVE: Be driven to succeed and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
ANALYSIS: Possess strong analytical skills to conduct training needs analysis, collate and understand source materials and information from SME's and stakeholders.
COMMUNICATION: Excellent communication skills in both verbal and non-verbal format is essential. Should be generally outgoing and comfortable working with others.
CREATIVITY: Display a strong sense of problem solving through creative practice and be able to innovate to provide both visually and conceptually striking training products.
Accredited Degree or similar level qualification preferable.
