Chipton-Ross is seeking a Network Engineer - Level 3 for an opening in Sunnyvale, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide network engineering labor services on Client premises and customer worksites to meet program needs for resources on a temporary or "temp to perm" basis.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o10% travel domestic and international
o Hands-on Cisco, Arista, or Juniper (or similar vendor) routers/switches/firewall configuration experience
o Experience w TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, QoS, VTP/VLANs, NW Security (IPSec Tunnels), routing protocols OSPF, BGP, etc
o Experience with troubleshooting network anomalies and failures
o Virtualization experience
o Network diagram and documentation experience
o Unix System administration experience
o System installation and integration experience
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Team player with strong interpersonal, communications and writing skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
o AWS Cloud Implementation o Network Virtualization, VXLAN o DevOps process/tools/technologies (e.g. Containers/Docker, Ansible, etc.) o Network/System Monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Splunk, etc.) o Network Certifications (Cisco, Juniper, VMWare etc.) o Security+ Certification
EDUCATION:
o 8 years of experience/combined education in network/engineering design
WORK HOURS:
1st Shift, Full-Time
