- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Payroll Lead in Cypress, CA.
Must have extensive ADP Payroll experience, prefer ADPVantage.
Looking for someone who has lead or supervised others High energy, good communication skills, and enjoys change.
Prefer prior manufacturing industry experience.
Summary of Duties:
" Responsible for proper handling of direct deposits, electronic transfers of payroll taxes and issuance of paycheck.
" Maintains employees and management trust and confidence and protects payroll confidentiality.
" Maintains and oversees payroll compliance with company pay policy and procedures.
" Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training seminaries.
" Reconciles all quarterly and annually payroll tax filings.
" Responsible for processing time, attendance and employee deductions.
" Calculate and prepare pay checks.
" Review federal and multi-state payroll tax returns.
" Prepare payroll reports.
" Supervise Payroll Staff.
" Participate in employee evaluations.
" Lead/guide the work of two or more employees
" Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment.
" General Duties:
" All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of the C&D products.
" All employees are required to productively react to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
Education: AA, bachelors or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ experience with payroll, state and federal payroll taxes, wage laws, and outside payroll processors. Must have ADP Payroll experience, prefer ADPVantage.
Computer Skill: Basic Microsoft Office and Windows operating system.
Other Skills: Supervisory and organizational skills. Diligent and accurate.
