- Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Wire Design & Install Engineers located in Ridley Park, PA.
Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Supports analysis and design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Supports the development of statements of work. Assists in the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture. Works under general supervision.
CATIA V5 - Required - Intermediate
Candidates must have recent experience (within the last year) in designing, developing, maintaining and releasing wire harness drawings and/or 3D Model based definition data packages using CATIA V5, the electrical workbench, BoGart and Teamcenter.
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, com. Additionally...Candidates must have a four year Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited school. Candidates with Electrical Engineering Technology or AA degrees are not qualified.
