Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist for an opening in Ridley Park, PA

Plans and coordinates selected customer visits/events, exhibit trade shows, air shows, product demonstrations and evaluations, utilizing substantial working knowledge of U.S. and foreign government regulations, international cultures and customs and company policies and procedures based on strategic business objectives. Leads event/exhibit planning meetings and communications with business development/marketing/sales.
Determines date, geographic location, time, participants/products and budget.
Organizes and leads a multi-disciplined team (e.g., facilities, marketing/communications, graphics, security and transportation, etc.) to implement the plan. Continuously collects, integrates and disseminates information to all stakeholders through various communication methods (e.g., Web, printed materials, presentations and emails) to ensure adherence to the plan. Based on customer requirements (e.g., budget, group size, format, site accessibility, aesthetics and A/V requirements, etc.), researches and evaluates potential venues (including site inspections if required) and make recommendations of preferred venue or site to customer. Negotiates and secures vendor/supplier contracts. Has authority to make expenditures for goods and services. Responsible for accurate inventory, manifesting, tracking and export/import compliance in shipping items in support of visit/event. Makes decisions with regard to resource requirements. Broadens internal and external customer and supplier network. Provides direction to others for successful completion of tasks. Implements logistics in accordance with company policies and procedures, branding compliance, business courtesies, protocol and U.S. and foreign government guidelines. Applies knowledge of customer''s customs and cultures in all aspects of the visit/event and provides sound advice and recommendations. Leads the team in executing the agreed to plan and all logistical aspects of the visit/event including reviewing accuracy of collateral material, invitation design and selection of promotional items. Provides on-site direction for visit/event. Solicits feedback from all stakeholders and conducts process reviews with planning team.
Documents and shares results and suggested improvements to enhance quality of future projects. Documents, manages and reviews the return of inventory.
Reconciles all visit/events expenses (e.g., tips, expense reports and invoices) between client and vendors through review and evaluation of services provided in order to record actual expenditures, share results and authorize payment in a timely manner.

Accredited Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
