Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Aircraft Electrician/Avionics Technician located in Jacksonville, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to efficiently read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions, etc.
Ability to efficiently use a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink gun, etc.
Ability to efficiently assemble, modify, install and perform continuity tests on wire bundles, conductors and other quality electrical components.
Ability to apply knowledge of shop mathematics and electrical and electronic theories to aircraft repairs and troubleshooting of systems and subsystems.
Ability to clearly document maintenance and repair actions, equipment status tags, logs, parts requests, etc.
Ability to operate ground support equipment (GSE) and test equipment as required to perform assigned tasks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in computer skills required to utilize client information systems applications for work instruction, labor charging, quality records, parts ordering, etc.
- F18 Experience a plus.
- Modification Experience a plus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
