Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Associate located in Santa Clara, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the day to day manufacturing and quality control activities associated with the QuantiGene product line. Primary job responsibility includes probe pooling, probe aliquoting, and QA of probe aliquots. Position requires using sensitive analytical equipment and sub microliter dispensing devices. This position also includes freezer maintenance to maintain probe inventory accuracy and integrity. Position requires strong background in a fast paced manufacturing setting. This position will require the use of the computer to maintain probe database and access label printing database. Responsible for and maintains all documentation associated with performing job.


Some knowledge of good laboratory practices in a manufacturing and QC environment. The ability to micro-pipette is also a requirement. The ability to read small labels for accuracy of materials is a must. Good computer skills. Excel knowledge is a plus. Experience using equipment such as PH meters, scale, filling equipment and other small lab devices. Ability to multi task and good communication skills. Requires the ability to work both independently and as a team player.

EDUCATION:
This position prefers an Accredited BS degree in biology science and/or 2-3 years of industrial experience.
