Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stock Assistant Sr for an opening in Manassas, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Typical Tasks: Performs a variety of activities which involve standard procedures. Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness. In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data. Reconcile invoices, pick and pack orders, create requisition orders for stock fill, and kit orders for production. Supervision: General supervision with instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions for new lines of work or special assignments. Candidate needs to have the ability to learn quickly, have attention to detail, and work with little direction often times from incomplete instructions. Ability for be a problem solver who can adapt, willing to learn, and show up on time. This is a Level 2 Pricing position

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Ability to inspect incoming parts to meet specifications and quantity. Reconcile invoices, pick and pack orders, create requisition orders for stock fill, ability to kit orders for production, and has previous warehousing experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with inventory management. This is a level 2 Priding position

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of warehouse order tracking systems. Fork lift certified or experience with operating a fork lift. Parts kitting experience.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Full-Time
9/80, 1st Shift
