The responsibilities include mechanical design & analysis using computer-aided design (CAD), conducting packaging trades, tolerance and interference analyses, generating drawing packages & associated electronic data, and supporting the fabrication, assembly and test of the hardware.
A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.
Must have 5 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Electronic packaging, CAD, or mechanical design experience in an aerospace environment.
Demonstrated technical skills with experience supporting a multi-disciplined team.
Experience working with different partners across organizations and programs.
Proficient in performing tolerance and interference analyses.
Experience in generating and releasing product detail and assembly drawings.
Experience with PTC Creo / Intralink software applications.
A Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 4+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment.
Experience with electronic packaging / mechanical design for airborne & space applications.
Electronics design development and sustaining experience spanning cradle to grave.
Experience with Enovia PLM software application.
Proficiency with electrical design, electronics manufacturing processes and qualification activities.
Familiarity with research and development of advanced packaging technologies.
A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline is required. A Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
