Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Software Engineer Level 2 for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Software Engineering team is looking for technically creative software engineers with a gift for real time embedded software development including experience with the VxWorks real time operating system, inertial and GPS navigation applications and Ethernet communication protocol.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experienced in the use of the GNAT Ada compiler - Familiarity with the Wind River Workbench development environment - Experience with the Razor configuration management tool - Software development using the Ada programming language

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in the use of an In-Circuit Emulator - Experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS in Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

WORK HOURS:
9/80, 1st Shift
Full-Time
