Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 2 for an opening in Dallas, TX.
Provides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
Embedded systems domain experience. Experience with DoD security requirements and process, IE, Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Domain experience in areas such as hardware design, software design, penetration testing, encryption, networks, RTOS, cross domain solutions. Familiarity with in-vehicle network architecture, modules, and protocols (CAN etc.). Mobile Phone Application Programming, Bluetooth, Networking familiarity a plus. Penetration testing and tools experience. Understanding of architecture, development, design principals a plus. Familiarity with Threat Modeling. Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation as needed. Ability to work independently, take follow-up on project deliverables, go above and beyond the task at hand.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in related discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
