Chipton Ross is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Acton, MA.

Receive, edit, and process incoming customer telephone, email, and faxed orders in a timely manner.
Enter both customer requests and the completion information of those requests into an order processing system with minimal errors.
Receive, evaluate, and answer customer and sales issues, inquires, and correspondence in a timely manner, including product feature, price and shipping information.
Support and resolve customer inquiries, including Return Authorizations, Repair Authorizations, requests for catalogs, and provide follow-up to assure satisfaction.
Ensure correct entry of price, shipping and other key information for products timely and accurate shipment.
Answer internal and external customer telephone calls both at the customer service desk and rotation at the switchboard, routing calls as necessary with some overhead paging.
o Responsible for all collection activity on assigned accounts -maintain or exceed DSO Goals.
o Apply Cash receipts including check, wire, ACH and credit card payments in an accurate and timely manner. Requires opening mail and preparing deposits for entry in ERP system.
o Print invoices and mail, fax or email according to specific account requirements. Requires use of folding and postage machines. Track postage account and envelope stock to ensure sufficient supplies.
o Process online billings in WAWF and OB10 for Government Invoices.
o Process online billings for various customer portals as assigned.
o Review and Release credit held orders as appropriate.
o Process manual billings in order to meet customer requirements.
o Resolve account discrepancies including but not limited to short payments, over payments, duplicate shipments and price issues.
o Request tax certificates as needed.
o Process customer refund requests and obtain necessary approvals.
o Daily reconciliation of cash to ensure all deposit are processed in ERP system.
o Respond to Internal and External Audit requests as directed.
o Escalate requests outside of role/scope to collection supervisor as needed.

o Strong decision making skills
o Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of internal and external customers and management
o Ability to work independently or in team settings
o 2-4 years' experience in a credit and collections role
o Experience with Call Center telephone systems.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
