RESPONSIBILITIES:
Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Engineering Technician 1 in support of the Hunter Unmanned Aircraft System. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses Windows computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Duties & tasks are simple and repetitive. Assists more senior staff members with routine tasks. Refer questions and problems to higher levels.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 0 years of experience.
Must have experience with Microsoft Windows 7 or higher.
Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook.
Must be able to type a minimum of 50 WPM, contracting house must be able to validate.
Must have an Intermediate or higher knowledge level with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point (Provide list of courses and dates taken.)
Must have analysis/calculation experience.
Understanding of component analysis.
Must be able to present analysis findings to a group forum bi-weekly.
Basic math skills are required.
Experience with Windchill Quality Solutions 11.0 or other Reliability Software is a plus.
Previous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle knowledge is a plus.
Previous experience with aviation or automotive parts is a plus.

EDUCATION:
AA or other 2 year technical degree is required.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek
