- Chipton-Ross is seeking a B-52 Engineer located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Provides expert judgment and analysis for the maintenance requirements, depot work packages and support of the Engineering Requirements and Review Process. The engineer will analyze and create aircraft depot maintenance task requirements and associated man-hours and Bill of Materials. Recommends dispositions regarding requests for engineering assistance forms. Works as a liaison between engineering customer team members and technical staff, user and depot maintenance representatives, and supply chain members to document needs, define requirements, and provide problem identification and resolution.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 6-8 years of engineering experience with at least four on B-52 and/or other aircraft mechanical system projects. Familiarity with a variety of the aircraft mechanical systems concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus. Position requires skill in analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical data; and, identifying and analyzing complex problems and developing innovative solutions. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
