RESPONSIBILITIES:
Are you looking to join a growing, dynamic team supporting a critical mission for the government? Do you enjoy systems administration and creating solutions for complex system problems? Northrop Grumman Missions Systems (NGMS) Sector is seeking a Systems Administrator 4 to join a support team located at our Fairfax, VA location.
Our program has a need for a self-motivated, hardworking System Administrator capable of working on an agile, development program and provide leadership and direction to the team. The individual needs to be comfortable supporting requirements changes that could require reconfiguration and continuous restructuring of the current system infrastructure. Selected candidates will initially be responsible for: Enterprise level automation, monitoring, and management of Linux and Windows systems; COTs SW installs; and Security Hardening, administration of VMWare, administration of Oracle network attached storage (NAS) devices. The ideal candidate will develop solutions to moderate problems, utilizing ingenuity and general direction or oversight. The candidate will recommend additional automation tools/solution which enable the system to achieve a higher level of availability, reliability, and configuration management. The candidate must understand how their tasks fit within the overall program goals and perform their work accordingly.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 10 years' relevant experience with Bachelors; 8 years' experience with Masters; or 14 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Expert background in Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS) Experience with VMware vSphere.
Hands-on experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Experience with implementing infrastructures within Amazon Web Services CompTIA Security+ certification.
Experience with supporting DevOps, including use of tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
Experience/Expert with Windows administration.
Experience with Splunk Experience performing system backups, maintaining archives, and data recovery.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors; 8 years' experience with Masters; or 14 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek
