Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician Level 1 for an opening in Oldsmar, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, missile control instrumentation, electron tubes, test equipment, and machine tool numerical controls, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics. Usually work under direction of engineering staff.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Two year technical degree or Vocational Certificate in any field of electronics, 3.8 GPA minimum o Electronic troubleshooting experience to component level o Familiarity with functions of automatic and manual test equipment including O'scopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Multimeters, and TDR checkers. o Able to read blueprints / drawings / schematics. o Good computer skills with ability to work from electronic work instructions o Understanding of procedures required when working in an Electro Static Discharge (ESD) environment o Must be willing to work 1st shift

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Teradyne, ICT (HP 3070) experience, & and RF Troubleshooting a plus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
