Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our Software Engineering team is looking for creative software engineers with a desire for professional growth and technical challenge to design, develop, integrate & qualify Air Defense Artillery tactical software applications using the C++ programming language. The software is developed in a real-time embedded environment so, candidate must have experience in this area.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Skills required are C++, real time embedded programming, including experience with the VxWorks real time operating system, inertial and GPS navigation applications, Serial and Ethernet communication protocols.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred skills and experience include use of the GNAT compilation system, Wind River Workbench development environment, Power PC experience, experience with software configuration management/version control. In addition, experience with the Data Distribution Service (DDS) messaging protocol (e.g. RTI/DDS) and the Linux OS are also desired.

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS in Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

9/80, 1st Shift
Full-Time
