- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Clerk I for an opening in Kansas City, MO.
Performs advanced and complex clerical duties requiring the exercise of judgment and analysis. Work requires thorough knowledge of departmental and/or company procedures and related work performed in other departments. Work is usually subject to detailed verification.
Job duties will involve mail processing/distribution, eventually evolving into copy center work such as printing and bindery services when time permits. Candidate must be able to prioritize as they will be working alone the majority of their shift. Must be able to remain on task to meet daily scheduled service obligations. Department consists of 3 employees, and team coordination/productivity is important to complete jobs in a timely manner. The job requires the candidate to be on his/her feet for most of the day, frequently handling large boxes/shipments. The candidate needs to be professional as they will be encountering all levels of Client employees. They must be focused on their work as they will be delivering/picking up mail from many floors in the building on a preset schedule. The candidate will be required to work with a wide variety of printing and bindery equipment used to produce the requested product. The candidate should have a good customer service attitude. They will be required to stay on task while dealing with numerous interruptions from vendors and employees throughout the day. Training will be provided on the job.
Keyboarding at 30 wpm production and 25 wpm revised copy Previous customer service and/or computer experience is preferred
2-5 years clerical experience
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
