Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Retail Operations Specialist 2 located in Seattle, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in drafting functional budget, developing policies and procedures and integrating technology support. Drafts sales plan and maintains profit and loss metrics to plan in a single location with multiple venues. Assists with audits, compliance and maintenance of brand standards. Drafts marketing plans. Manages product selection and development for one to three product categories or limited risk categories. Assists in monitoring vendor activities for contract compliance. Allocates merchandise items for distribution for up to seven venues. Assists in managing product selection and development for a single product category. Assists in drafting sales plan and maintaining profit and loss metrics to plan. Assists with audits, compliance and maintenance of brand standards. Generates limited purchase orders. Assists in allocating merchandise items for distribution and in drafting marketing plans. Assists Merchandise Team with placing orders, product publishing and inventory management. Provides administrative support and is familiar with a variety of retail concepts, practices, and procedures.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Merchandising:
Create merchandise SKUs for Client Recognition Program
Own Product Transition Log (PTL) process including copy and image acquisition.
Process BRP drop ship manual orders
Assist with writing and tracking purchase orders utilizing Counterpoint POS system.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure BSI processes are followed for trademark usage, sample processes, and pre-ticketing
Act as backup for Custom Buying team for issuing purchase orders

Operations:
Adjust PO information in the event of vendor or buyer updates
Process all Return to Vendor (RTV) adjustments in Counterpoint.
Run openc, track and update purchase orders as needed
Keep POs updated and contact vendors on late merchandise and shipment dates.
Prepare and process import wire payments and submit to Finance.
Generate tickets and send to vendors when required
Scan barcodes to ensure accuracy in BSI POS Counterpoint
Replenish store supplies as needed.
Review inventory reports in Counterpoint to monitor merchandise flow and deliveries.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure BSI processes are followed for defective claims procedures, shipping requirements, and routing guidelines.
Assist Buyers and Merchandise Operations with special projects as needed

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
