Chipton Ross is seeking a Bonder for an opening in Cypress, CA
Bonding of aircraft interior structures and parts, such as bins, galleys and lavatories and creating sub-assemblies for the completion of aircraft interior structures and parts using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.
Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
Clean panels in preparation for bonding.
Mixes and prepares primarily epoxy adhesive for bonding of fiberglass, carbon, phenolic or epoxy panels via a dado joint configuration.
Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process of bonding.
Must be able to read and write English at a level necessary for successful job performance.
High School diploma or GED
This will be a second shift position (5pm-1:30am) Mon-Friday and every other Saturday. OT can be expected. The first day will be an 8am start for orientation. Following orientation, the first 2 weeks will be worked during the first shift hours for training(6am-2:30PM). After the first 2 weeks the shift will be back to the agreed upon 2nd shift.
