Description
Chipton Ross is seeking a Fill and Fair position for an opening in Cypress, CA

Responsibilities
Prepare aircraft interior parts for decorative material application by filling and fairing plastic, metal, and composite parts and units using filling material.
Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints, and work orders.
Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
Clean panels in preparation for filling and fairing.
Mix and apply filling material to aircraft interior parts.
Fair parts after application and drying of filler.

Requirements
0-3 years of experience in comparable role.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Demonstrated ability in mixing and applying bondo, and subsequent inspection and sanding.

Preferred Experience
Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing or automotive painting is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints preferred.

Demonstrated ability in mixing and applying bondo, and subsequent inspection and sanding. The ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. Ability to work in a team environment

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Schedule
This will be a second shift position (5pm-1:30am) Mon-Friday and every other Saturday. OT can be expected. The first day will be an 8am start for orientation. Following orientation, the first 2 weeks will be worked during the first shift hours for training(6am-2:30PM). After the first 2 weeks the shift will be back to the agreed upon 2nd shift.
