Chipton Ross is seeking 3 Decor for an opening in Cypress, CA

Apply decorative material such as Tedlar, carpet and tapestries to metal, composite and plastic aircraft interior parts with a pressure sensitive, heat activated or sprayable adhesive. Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders. Documents the materials and/or process used in the process to maintain traceability. Clean panels in preparation for décor application. Applies decorative material such as Tedlar, carpet and tapestry to aircraft interior parts per applicable specifications. Mixes and applies adhesive per work order instructions as necessary for application of decorative material. Operates vacuum and heat bladder machine with tooling for processing of heat applied décor. Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.

High School diploma or GED required.
1 - 3 years of experience in comparable role (aerospace manufacturing industry is preferred)
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, preferred.
Other Skills: Good communication skills (English - speak, read and write), ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints preferred. Demonstrated ability in mixing and applying bondo and subsequent inspection and sanding.

Work Schedule:
Work Days (ie M-F) M-F + mandatory Saturdays (every other week until January )
Work Hours 2nd Shift 5:00 pm - 1:35 am
