Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst for an opening in Lenexa, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cost analysis
Ensure accurate gross margin reporting by maintaining accurate costs for the plant.

Work closely with Manufacturing to identify and resolve root cause of manufacturing and factory spending variances.

Perform various close responsibilities related to COGS and inventory.

Perform periodic audits WIP inventory and cycle count inventory results.

Perform various fixed asset duties including AR submission, spend tracking/forecasting, and monthly progress meetings with the operations team.
Help support reporting of Sourcing, PPI and Restructuring savings initiatives

Actively participate in formal Practical Process Improvement (PPI) team projects

Financial Reporting & Analysis
Play a key role in the preparation of annual operating plan

Actively support preparation of monthly and quarter business review presentations.

Complete special analysis / projects to help identify cost reduction and operating improvements initiatives including freight and service costs.

Prepare capital spending forecasts.

Prepare monthly service scorecard and other metrics

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
