- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler for an opening in Fremont, CA.
Responsible for managing the inventory of QC materials and reagents needed to support the QC Department. This includes the physical organization and allocation of materials, and forcasting useage based on feedback from end users. Responseabile for the entire process, when fully established. Provides administrative support for multiple QC areas, as needed, in addition to helping maintain the QC Laboratory.
Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple items simutaniously. Good reading comprehension skills. Ability to follow written and verbal directions with a high level of accuracy. Must be able to write clear, understandable documentation. Good verbal communication skills. Manual dexterity, must be able to lift/move up to 20 pounds. Good word processing and spreadsheet software skills. Basic math skills.
Preferred to have 0-2 yrs experience in the medical diagnostics industry. Good fundamental laboratory skills including pipetting, safety, and hazardous chemical handling. Understanding of cGMP and how it applies to the work environment is preferred.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED, AA degree in a scientific discipline.
