- Chipton Ross is seeking a Electrical Installer for an opening in Huntington Beach, CA
Promotes cooperation and positive communication with co-workers.
Studies plans and engineering drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.
Inspects structure of production units to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of electrical components.
Locates and marks position of lines, connections and passage holes for electrical components in walls.
Suggests new or modified assemblies to minimize waste of materials, avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with engineering specifications and appropriate codes.
Follows diagrams or blueprints ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of structure materials.
Measures, cuts, threads, and assembles electrical routing materials.
Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads and applying terminal caps.
Connects wiring to electrical fixtures and equipment.
Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels.
Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments.
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement.
Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas.
Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
Prepares and organizes tools and parts for use in the assembly area.
Requisitions stockroom parts.
Works at different workstations as production needs require.
Tasks vary as different units complete certain phases of production.
Performs other duties may be assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required

Must be able to effectively control and manipulate various pneumatic and hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, clamps, and pliers. Must meet or exceed current training requirements. Must be willing to be available to assist in other areas of the company, as directed by lead or supervisor
