- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Transportation Analyst 2 located in Hazelwood, MO
Assists in the selection of carriers and spot quotes. Supports domestic and international shipments and files AES. Provides data on carrier performance and assists in the review of contract requirement adherence. Participates in the maintenance of import and export control program. Interfaces with freight forwarders and carriers on standard shipments. Interfaces with internal compliance organizations to ensure compliance. Certifies the shipment of dangerous goods. Collects and maintains driver qualification records for the enterprise and monitors compliance. Assists in the investigation, preparation and submission of loss and damage claims to carriers. Works with others on the design of transportation plans to support internal organizations and external customers on traffic management issues.
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8 AM - 5 PM
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
