RESPONSIBILITIES:
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, divers individuals. This position is located in New Town, North Dakota.
An Aerospace Assembly Technician will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma/GED and 2 years of assembly technician experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience fabricating wire harnesses utilizing engineering drawings, parts lists, process specifications, and/or build to print packages.
Previous certifications for fabricating electrical harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Previous certifications and experience soldering electrical and electronic assemblies per joint industry standard IPC J-STD-001.

EDUCATION:
High School diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
4/10 workweek

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
