Description
Chipton Ross is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Shoreview, MN.

Role Summary: Order fulfillment and inventory control duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Will be responsible for the following tasks:
" Picking items using pick slips containing the details of what items and quantities are to be shipped on order.
" Packing shipments in a way to ensure that the items being shipped are not damaged.
" Performing the job in a neat and organized way while paying extreme attention to detail.
" Weighs and processes packages then applies shipping labels on packages.
" Performs inventory control activities such as cycle counting and inventory transfers.
" Performs various warehouse and shipping tasks, as required by management.
" Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and motivation to accomplish team goals.
" Must work well with others and be a strong team player.
" Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and via electronic messages.

Physical/environmental demands:
" Lifting -- up to 50 lbs
" Standing - up to 8 hours per day
" Bending
" Vision
" Color perception
" Depth perception
" Reading
" Good Hearing

Minimum Qualifications:
" High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree
" Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
" Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
" Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
" Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs

Education:
High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree

Schedule:
First shift, full time
