Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical engineer Level 2 for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineer to provide EPCAD Library support. The candidate will: - Create schematic symbols in Cadence HDL Version 16.6 or 17.2 according to ANSI/IEEE Standard 315A and company rules and standards. Be knowledgeable of the pin functions in order to expedite the flow of the schematic - Check symbols created by other Librarians to assure creation of a quality product. - Create JEDEC footprints for various packages from discretes to thousand-pin FPGAs per IPC manufacturing standards for holes, pad sizes, and clearances. - Check and verify JEDECs created by other Engineers and Librarians. - Communicate with users to ascertain requirements and needs for symbols and footprints.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proficient at Cadence HDL Version 16.6 or 17.2 - Experience creating schematic symbols and JEDEC footprints for various packages

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once - Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
