Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounting Associate for an opening in Alpharetta, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Shared Service accounting department. Verifies that documentation is turned in and complete, plus will also be responsible for archiving and retrieving accounting documentation. Updates and maintains accounting journal entries and reconciliation logs for the General Ledger Department. Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs; compiles data and prepares a variety of reports. Providing records for SOX, management and external auditors (e.g., PWC and DCAA). Takes actions to resolve discrepancies. Investigates questionable data.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 6 years of experience with.
Accounts payable and Excel
Heavy AP experience and just a little accounting experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Organization skills
Prior knowledge of SAP is a plus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED, Bachelors Degree

WORK HOURS:
9/80, 7:30 - 5:30
