Description
Chipton Ross is seeking a IT Project Manager for an opening in Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities
Developing project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and conferring with management. Determining project responsibilities by identifying phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements, preparing cost estimates. Determining project schedule by studying plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements. Maintaining project schedule by monitoring the progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems. Controlling project plan by reviewing requirements, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions. Controlling project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts. Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions. Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies. Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems from an accredited institution
Minimum of ten years of experience in Project Management or similar positions
Experience in large scale IT project management
Tier 1 ERP, PLM, MRP, Business Applications, Business Process Management, IT Infrastructure Project Management
Experience with aerospace industry a plus
Budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, risk management
Leadership skills
Communication skills
Time management / Responsiveness
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Autonomous
Accuracy and rigor, detail oriented
