Description


RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is for a Materials and Processes Laboratory Technical Analyst/Technician in a multifunctional laboratory performing material testing throughout the product lifecycle including: material and process selection; qualification; production support; field support; and investigation analysis. A primary function of this position will be composite layup and testing of materials. This position requires adaptability, the ability to multi-task, learn new skills, handle a variety of issues, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate for this position will:
Perform tests and assist in analysis of materials, processes and equipment; participate in test development; assist in routine analysis of aerospace materials; generate data to aid in their evaluation; assist in developing and revising documents and technical requirements; participate in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology and processes to ensure that conformance and producibility requirements are met; support continuous improvement of products and processes; work under limited supervision.

Experience with composite layup, materials testing and autoclave operation is highly desired.

EDUCATION:
Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
7 AM - 3:30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
