Chipton-Ross is seeking a Paralegal D located in Mesa, AZ

Boeing is seeking an experienced Paralegal supporting the onsite Senior Attorney in Boeing's Vertical Lift Practice Group, located in Mesa, Arizona.

Job responsibilities for this position include assisting the attorney with:
oDrafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual provisions, Nondisclosure Agreements, letters, memoranda and other written communications and agreements. Performing legal and factual research utilizing specialized software (e.g. Lexis/Nexis, CourtLink, WestLaw), the Internet, the Boeing Intranet, and other applications, and drafting research results in memorandum format for attorney review.
oAssisting with compliance programs such as anti-corruption, privacy, data retention, and drafting and maintaining policies and procedures.
oAssisting with initial internal investigations including maintaining case documents, and preparing issue memoranda; and performing and directing onsite support for document processing activities and monitoring deadlines and proprietary information.
oMaintaining confidentiality with sensitive matters as they arise, including encryption and proprietary legends, is required.
oCreating, maintaining and managing databases and web pages.
oWorking with legal staff at Boeing and proposing possible solutions and courses of action to responsible attorney(s) as necessary.
oSome administrative support for the attorney will be required, to include: travel arrangements, calendar management, including the ability to independently make changes as conflicts arise; triage of client needs via client phone calls and visits; support of the attorney work product via word processing, preparation of PowerPoint presentations, and financial and project-status reporting (Excel, Passport, other applications); and organization, tracking, and maintaining of files with attention to sensitive information.
oThe successful candidate must be able to work independently to resolve problems and confer with attorney on final solutions or next step processes. The position may require occasional responsibilities for team or department-oriented tasks, projects, and activities. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
oUpload materials in support of outside counsel activities using CSC Navigator, and monitor dockets, deadlines, and protection of proprietary information.
oProvide support to onsite and offsite attorneys, internal to Boeing as well as outside counsel.

oFormal education beyond high school is preferred. Preferred candidate will hold certification from an accredited paralegal program, other college-level education, and/or four or more years' experience in a law firm or corporate in-house law department. Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual agreements is required. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft suite of computing applications is required with specific emphasis on proficiencies in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel -- with at least intermediate-level proficiency. Proficiency with SharePoint set-up, WebEx set up and records management systems is desirable.
oExperience in the handling and safeguarding of proprietary and confidential information also preferred.
oA cooperative, positive, team-oriented attitude is essential, as are attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and must be able to prioritize activities and perform multiple tasks while maintaining quality, speed, and accuracy.

Experience in a law firm, corporate in-house counsel or government legal setting.

Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating contractual agreements.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Typically 7 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

oA Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor's degree is desired
oMilitary experience is a plus

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
