Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Assembler 2's for a contract opportunity in Madison, AL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High school diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Considerable knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
Supervision Given and Received
Direct supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments. General supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
Typical Duties and Tasks
Duties & tasks are varied but standardized. Performs some more advanced functions. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex questions to higher levels.
Consequence of Errors
Errors may be detected and corrected but may cause moderate loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction.
Contacts
Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 5/40 work week.
Key hours: 7am-3:30 pm with some flexibility
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
