Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Project Management Specialist 5's for a remote opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
Virtual with weekly travel to any of the following sites:
Ogden, UT
Oklahoma City, OK
Huntsville, AL
Michoud, LA
St Louis, MO
Seattle, WA
Philadelphia, PA
Colorado Springs, CO
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Active Confidential/Secret/Top Secret Security Clearance is required for this position
o Experience utilizing the Deltek Open Plan Professional (OPP) Integrated Scheduling tool, and Microsoft EXCEL.
o Knowledge of DoD EVM DFAR reporting requirements.
o Knowledge of Integrated Scheduling CPM practice.
o Knowledge of Program, or Project Management practices.
o Experience as a Lead Program Schedule Integrator on a large development program with DFAR/IPMR/IPMDAR requirements
o 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client currently has two openings for Integrated Planning and scheduling analysts to provide program scheduling support directly to program teams including IP&S, Finance, and CAMs to address EVM process and data issues associated with active DCMA CARs/CAPs leading to closure. This role will work on-site and virtually at the direction of program / site IP&S leadership to expedite issue resolution. This position will require domestic travel to BDS program locations when necessary to coordinate activity.
o Develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains plans and schedules for very complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities.
o Perform analysis and planning activities to support product development, process improvement, or program initiatives.
o Facilitate, and ensures integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers, and partners.
o Provides training, coaching, mentoring, and leadership to technical teams and lower-level employees.
o Provides subject matter expertise in the development, implementation of EVM compliant program plans and schedules.
o Offer testing process observations and insights to Program and PM Home Office staff.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS:
FULL-TIME/FIRST SHIFT 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
ADDITIONAL:
Domestic travel: This position will require domestic travel to BDS program locations when necessary to coordinate activity. Potential for some remote work when site visits are not needed. Weekend travel is unlikely. Travel will typically be at one location for about a week at a time. Possible locations include:
Ogden, UT, Oklahoma City, OK, Huntsville, AL, Michoud, LA, St Louis, MO, Seattle, WA, Philadelphia, PA, Colorado Springs, CO.
