Chipton-Ross is seeking a PC Network Tech 2 for a contract opportunity in Magna, UT.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 2-5 years of experience
o Top 2 desired skills: hands on support experience and enterprise environment experience
o Previous experience supporting end user devices, Windows OS, hardware, software, printers and peripherals in an enterprise environment >500 devices
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive mission critical needs.
o Must have understanding and experience configuring user and computer accounts in Active Directory
o Strong troubleshooting abilities
o Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Windows Desktop OS and Office Product Suite.
o Understanding of networking principles (such as the OSI model)
o Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking a PC Network Tech 2 at the Magna, UT location with possible intermittent work at the Copper Crossing location. The selected candidates primary focus will be Windows administration support and enclave compliance activities.
Job duties will include:
Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
o Provide technical support for computers; install, troubleshoot, service, and repair PCs, related software, peripherals and associated networks.
o Connect clients, servers, and terminals to existing data networks.
o Assist InfoSec with DFARS, CMMC compliance responsibilities.
o Setup, maintenance, compliance and vulnerability remediation for off-network and lab environments
o Rack and stack workstations and provide server application support as directed by server team
o Provide Windows systems management.
o Perform root cause analysis for complex issues
o Ability to create accurate and clear documentation and diagrams of environments, ticket resolutions and technical solutions
o Work with software vendors to support third party applications.
o Provide technical hardware or software support above and beyond the Tier1/2 support vendor and educate users as needed.
o Monitors ticket queues to ensure SLAs are met
o Previous experience supporting user and manufacturing hardware, software, etc. in an enterprise environment
o Ability to work independently; appropriately escalate issues and roadblocks to leadership.
o Superior customer service and service delivery. Maintains composure in difficult situations, with challenging customers.
o Demonstrates personal integrity and high ethical standards in customer contacts as well as all internal relationships.
o Master unfamiliar information, tasks, and situations quickly and effectively.
o Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
o Customer and detail oriented and possess good decision-making ability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, Visio, PowerShell.
o Associate's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.
o CompTIA A+, or Network+, or Security+ certification
o Experience using ServiceNow in an enterprise environment
o Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
o Cross-platform experience (i.e. Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
o Familiar with OT/ICS segregation principles and techniques
o Understanding of enterprise-level storage concepts to include all commonly used RAID-levels.
o Experience with engineering applications.
o Investigate information, network, and communication needs of users, and make recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. On-Site.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
