Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience using Cameo System Modeler, or similar Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) software
o Proficiency in VB.Net, C#.Net, and sysML (or extensive Unified Modeling Language)
o Experience in managing requirements of DoD contracts
o Experience in all aspects of designing and implementing system architecture, requirements, software and software testing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo System Modeler
o Manage requirements, tracking, and verification for TMP systems change requests (CRs)
o Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
o Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
o Develop and maintain code, unit test and integrate software components into the TMP system
o Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, interfaces, designs and algorithms for TMP system.
o Collaborate with software development team to share expertise and knowledge.
o Drive TMP software architecture, design and approach through:
o Software process development, selection, tailoring and deployment, tools and metrics.
o Accuracy and accountability are essential. Your expectations include:
o Development of software verification plans, test procedures and test environments.
o Provides technical solutions for a diverse range of challenges.
o Implementation of TMP and Industry standard software processes.
o Collaboration with and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
o You will work under general direction.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience in handling documentation products for the use of developers and stakeholders, specifically regarding requirements and systems of systems.
o Experience with software design and development tools such as, Subversion, Azure DevOps, Git
o Experience with Navigation Modeling and Flight Simulation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
